Mushroom Chicken
Mushroom Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. frying chicken, 1 can golden mushroom soup, 1 large onion, flour and vegetable oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Rinse chicken; roll in flour.
Fry in oil approximately 10 minutes on each side over medium heat.
Salt to taste.
Drain off oil; remove from heat.
In separate container, mix mushroom soup with 1 cup water and diced onion.
Place chicken back on stove on low heat.
Pour mixture over chicken and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, until mixture thickens.
Serve topped with sauce.
