Multi-Nut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1 c. water, 1 c. light corn syrup, 1 can mixed nuts (10 to 12 oz. size) and 3 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
👨🍳 Instructions
Butter a cookie sheet.
Combine sugar, water and corn syrup in a large saucepan.
Cook over high heat to 280° on candy thermometer.
Add nuts and cook, stirring, to 300° on candy thermometer.
Remove from heat.
Stir in butter and vanilla until blended.
Add baking soda and stir vigorously.
