Muffins is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. oatmeal, 2 c. bran (health food stores have this), 1 c. sunflower oil, 1 qt. buttermilk and 5 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Pour 1 cup boiling water over cereal; mix thoroughly.
Add oil and brown sugar; mix again.
Add the buttermilk, eggs, soda and salt (optional); work in flour gradually.
