Mud Cake
Mud Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. margarine, melted, 4 tbsp. cocoa, 1 c. boiling water, 1/2 c. buttermilk and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Sift together the sugar, flour and soda.
Combine melted margarine, cocoa and boiling water.
Pour over dry sifted ingredients.
Beat quickly and add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla. Beat again.
Bake in 10 x 15 1/2 cookie sheet pan for 15 to 20 minutes at 350Β°.
