Mud Cake
Mud Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 4 eggs, 1/3 c. cocoa, 1 c. nuts and 1 c. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Cream shortening and sugar and add eggs.
Sift flour and cocoa; add and mix well.
Add nuts and vanilla and pour into 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake 55 minutes at 300Β°.
When done, remove from oven and cover with marshmallows.
Return to oven and bake 10 minutes longer.
Let cool before icing.
