Mrs. Olson's Apple Crisp
Mrs. Olson'S Apple Crisp is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 c. cooking apples, sliced and peeled, 1 tbsp. lemon juice, 1 tbsp. cinnamon, 1/2 c. sugar and 1 c. brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Place the sliced and peeled apples into a greased dish. Sprinkle with the lemon juice, cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar. Combine the brown sugar, flour, oatmeal, baking soda, salt and baking powder.
Add the melted butter; mix until crumbly. Sprinkle crumb mixture on top of apples; do not pat down.
Bake at 325Β° for 35 minutes, or until apples are tender.
