Mozzarella Tamale
Mozzarella Tamale is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. ground chuck, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1/2 c. green pepper, 1 pkg. chili seasoning mix and 1 lb. 12 oz. can tomatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
In skillet, brown ground chuck. Add chopped onion and green pepper; saute.
Add chili seasoning mix and tomatoes.
Simmer 15 minutes.
Remove from heat; stir in shredded cheeses and olives. Turn into 9-inch square dish.
Prepare the corn bread mix according to directions. Arrange spoonfuls on top.
(Extra can be made into muffins.)
Bake in preheated 425Β° oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
