Mounds Cake
Mounds Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box duncan hines swiss chocolate (or devil food) cake mix, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. sour cream, 1 c. chopped nuts and 1 c. coconut, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Bake cake as directed in two eight or nine inch cake pans. Cool and cut the 2 layers in half to make 4 layers.
Mix together sugar, sour cream, nuts and coconut.
Spread 1/3 of mixture on each layer of cake (except for top layer). Use frosting mix to frost cake and enjoy.
