Mounds Bars
Mounds Bars is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 3 tbsp. cocoa, 3 eggs, 1 1/4 c. sugar and 1 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix shortening, cocoa, eggs, sugar and flour.
Spread in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 20 minutes.
Stir together sweetened condensed milk, coconut and almonds.
Spread over partially baked hot crust.
Return to oven for 15 minutes more.
Let cool.
Combine chocolate, confectioners sugar, cream, butter, salt and vanilla.
Beat until smooth.
Spread over cooled bars.
