Mother's Shortcake
Mother'S Shortcake is an easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour, 1 1/3 sticks oleo, 1 1/2 c. milk, 1 c. sugar and 4 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mix dry ingredients together and save out 1/2 cup.
Add milk and butter; mix until blended.
(It will be lumpy.) Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Sprinkle 1/2 cup dry mixture over top of the cake and bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
