Mother's Pastry
Mother'S Pastry is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. plain flour, 1 c. solid crisco, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 egg and 1 tbsp. vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cut Crisco in flour and salt.
Break egg in mixing cup.
Add vinegar and water to make 1/2 cup.
Stir and add to dry ingredients.
Mix good.
Makes 2 big, deep shells or 3 small. Keeps in Ziplocs in refrigerator for 2 to 3 weeks.
Use for serving salads - an edible bowl.
