Mother's Chow Mein
Mother'S Chow Mein is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 or 3 lbs. meat (beef, pork, or chicken), 3 bell peppers, 3 onions, 1 bunch celery and 3 cans bean sprouts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Brown meat until done.
Add peppers, onions, and celery cut into chunks.
Cook until turning yellow.
Add bean sprouts, water chestnuts, and bamboo sprouts. cook until all is hot!
Mix water, flour, and soy sauce well.
Add to meat while stirring to thicken.
Serve over heated chow mein noodles.
May add soy sauce to taste.
