Mostaccioli Salad
Mostaccioli Salad is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 (16 oz.) box mostaccioli noodles, 1/2 c. vegetable oil, 6 drops yellow food coloring, 1/2 c. white vinegar and 1/2 tsp. salt (heaping), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cook noodles in boiling water with food coloring.
Cool in cold water.
Drain well.
Pour oil over noodles.
Toss well.
Blend in blender the remaining ingredients.
Pour over noodles and chill. For color and taste, add chopped green pepper, radish, celery, tomatoes, etc.
Stir occasionally.
May be made a couple of days in advance for full flavor.
Can be kept in refrigerator for a week.
