Mortal Sin Cake
Mortal Sin Cake is an easy dinner. Made with 1 white cake mix, 2 c. sour cream, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 c. coconut and 1 container cool whip, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Bake cake mix according to directions in two 8-inch round cake pans.
Remove from pans 10 minutes after removing from oven.
When cool, slice each layer in two, making four layers.
Combine sour cream, sugar and coconut and spread between the layers.
Ice with Cool Whip.
Cover with Handi-Wrap, using toothpicks to keep off cake.
Store in refrigerator 3 days before using.
When removing the toothpicks, use Cool Whip to cover holes made by toothpicks.
