Mortal Sin Bars
Mortal Sin Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (2 layer) pkg. german chocolate cake mix, 3/4 c. melted butter, 1 c. evaporated milk, 14 oz. caramels and 1 c. chopped pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Mix cake mix, melted butter and 2/3 cup evaporated milk. Batter will be very thick.
Spread half the batter into greased 9 x 13-inch pans.
Bake at 350Β° for 10 to 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt caramels in 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
Spread over baked layer.
Sprinkle with nuts and chocolate chips.
Spread remaining batter over all.
Sprinkle with additional nuts, if desired.
Bake an additional 15 to 20 minutes.
