Mom's Apple Betty
Mom'S Apple Betty is an easy dinner. Made with cornbread (already baked), apples (soft), sliced, 1 box raisins, butter and cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Put a layer of crumbled cornbread in bottom of a 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking dish (omit crust if hard).
Put a layer of apples over top of crumbs, then a layer of raisins over the top of the apples.
Repeat the procedure until all is used up.
You will have about 3 layers.
Put dabs of butter all over the top and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Add about 4 tablespoons of water.
Cover.
Bake at 375° to 400° for 40 to 45 minutes.
Take out and put in serving dishes and pour milk and sugar over the top.
Delicious.
