Molded Banana Split
Molded Banana Split is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry-orange gelatin, 2 c. boiling water, 1 (8 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained, 1 pt. vanilla ice cream and 2 medium bananas, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

In medium bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Drain pineapple, reserving 1/4 cup juice. In small bowl, stir together 1/2 cup gelatin and reserved juice; pour into bottom of 5-cup mold.
Chill until almost set.
Stir ice cream into remaining gelatin until smooth; chill until slightly thickened.
Stir pineapple, banana and walnuts into thickened gelatin.
Pour into mold over clear layer.
Chill until firm, about 4 hours.
Unmold to serve.
Makes 8 servings.
