Molasses Taffy
Molasses Taffy is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. molasses, 1/4 c. vinegar, 1 c. sugar, butter, the size of an egg and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Put the molasses, sugar and vinegar in a pan and boil until the mixture hardens when dropped into cold water.
Add the vanilla.
Pour mixture into a buttered pan.
Mark into squares and set aside to cool.
Nuts and/or coconut can be placed in the bottom of the buttered pan before pouring in the taffy.
