Molasses Cake
Molasses Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. flour, 2 c. sugar, 1/2 lb. butter, 1 c. brer rabbit molasses and 2 c. boiling water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix flour, sugar and butter with pastry blender until crumbly; save 1 cup for topping.
Add rest of ingredients.
Keep reserved crumbs; mix the rest.
It will be runny and thin.
Pour into greased pans; sprinkle with crumbs.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 minutes or until it tests done with toothpick.
The cake will stay in the pan; it sticks.
Cut into sections and it can be gotten out nicely.
