Mock Cream Icing
Mock Cream Icing is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 tbsp. flour, 1 c. milk, 1/2 c. butter, 1/2 c. shortening and 1 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Make paste with flour and milk and cook until thick.
Cool. Beat butter, shortening and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla.
Add to cooled paste mixture and beat until smooth.
If chocolate icing is preferred, use 1 square of melted chocolate.
