Grease 13 x 9 pan.
Preheat oven to 350Β°. Mix together sugar, eggs, flour, chopped nuts, oil, 6 tablespoons cocoa, salt and vanilla.
Bake 30 minutes.
Just before cake is done, mix frosting.
If you do this too early, it will get thick and hard to frost.
