Minted Nuts
Minted Nuts is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. light corn syrup, 6 large marshmallows, 3 drops oil of peppermint or scant 1/4 tsp. peppermint extract and 1/2 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

slowly sugar, water, salt and corn syrup. Remove from heat just before it forms soft ball when dropped in cold water.
marshmallows; stir until melted.
Add flavoring and nuts; stir to coat.
Turn mixture out onto brown paper sack. Separate coating will adhere.
Keeps about a week, or can freeze up to 1 month.
