Mint Meringues
Mint Meringues is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 egg whites, 1/4 tsp. lemon juice, 3/4 c. sugar, dash of salt and 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Mix salt and cream of tartar and add to sugar then add this gradually to egg whites.
Add vanilla and lemon juice then fold in the chocolate bits.
Add 4 to 5 drops of green food coloring.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheets.
Put in oven.
Turn off heat. Leave in oven 8 hours.
Take out and serve.
