Blend 1 pound butter and cream cheese until smooth.

Gradually add flour.

Blend until bowl comes clean.

Refrigerate until firm, usually overnight.

Roll dough out in 10x sugar, not flour, and cut into 4 pieces.

Mix last 4 ingredients to make nut mixture.

(Dough should be divided into about 33 balls before cutting each into 4 pieces.)

Spread nut mixture on widest part of the pie slice.

Turn in edges and back, then roll so the tip is on the bottom of the cookie sheet.

Bake at 375Β° about 15 to 17 minutes until lightly brown.

Check during baking.

Roll in 10x sugar.
