Place a vanilla wafer, flat side down, in 24 cupcake cups. Beat cream cheese, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Spoon into cups and bake at 350Β° for 15 to 20 minutes.
Cool and top with cherry pie filling.
Makes 24 cakes.
