Mincemeat Pie
Mincemeat Pie is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. lean ground beef, 2 (9 oz.) pkg. mincemeat (condensed), 1 c. chopped pared apple, 1/4 c. sugar and 2 1/2 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Brown beef in small skillet; drain.
Break mincemeat in small pieces.
Mix beef, mincemeat, apple and sugar.
Add water; heat to boiling.
Boil and stir 3 minutes.
Prepare pastry.
Pour mincemeat mixture into pastry-lined 9-inch pan.
Bake until pie is bubbly at 425Β° and crust is brown, 35 to 45 minutes.
Makes a 9-inch two crust pie.
