Mince Apple Pie
Mince Apple Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell, 2 apples, pared and sliced, 6 tbsp. unsifted flour, 1 (28 oz.) jar none such ready to use mincemeat and 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven to 425°.
Toss apples with 2 tablespoons flour; arrange in pastry shell.
Top with mincemeat.
In small bowl, combine remaining flour, sugar and cinnamon; cut in margarine until crumbly.
Mix in nuts.
Sprinkle over mincemeat.
Bake 10 minutes; reduce heat to 350° and continue baking 25 to 30 minutes or until browned.
Serve warm or cold with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
