Microwave Toffee
Microwave Toffee is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. chopped pecans, 3/4 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. butter, cut in chunks and 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Spread pecans evenly in a buttered 8 x 8-inch pan.
In a 2-quart casserole, combine sugar and margarine.
Microwave at High for 4 1/2 to 8 1/2 minutes, or until sugar is dissolved, stirring after 2 minutes, then every minute.
Do not overcook!
Spread mixture over nuts in pan.
Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Let stand 20 seconds until chocolate is melted.
Spread chocolate over candy.
Break into pieces.
Yield
