Mix sugar and sour cream in large microwave bowl.
Microwave on High a total of 7 minutes, 2 minutes and stir, 3 minutes and stir, 2 minutes and stir.
Add vanilla and nuts.
Mix well and spread onto waxed paper.
Separate as mixture cools.
