Microwave Peanut Brittle
Microwave Peanut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1 c. peanuts, 1/2 c. white karo syrup, 1/8 tsp. salt and 1 tsp. margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
In a 4 cup Pyrex, combine first four ingredients.
Cook on High for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add margarine and vanilla.
Cook on High for 2 minutes.
Stir in the baking soda. Pour on cookie sheet sprayed with an aerosol pan coating.
The first cooking time must be adjusted to the wattage of your microwave.
My microwave is 450 watts and requires 8 minutes.
