Microwave Cracker Jacks
Microwave Cracker Jacks is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 qt. popped corn, 1 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. butter, 1/4 c. corn syrup and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Pour popped corn into grocery bag sprayed with Pam.
Cook brown sugar, butter, syrup and salt for 2 minutes on High.
Take out and stir.
Cook for 2 minutes on High.
Add baking soda; stir until foamy.
Pour over the corn in the bag; stir well.
With corn still in the bag, cook for 1 1/2 minutes on High.
Take out and shake.
Cook for another 1 1/2 minutes.
Shake; cook 45 seconds. Pour onto cookie sheet, cool and break apart.
Store in airtight container.
