Microwave Caramel Popcorn
Microwave Caramel Popcorn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 to 4 qt. popped corn, 1 c. brown sugar, 1 stick margarine, 1/4 c. white corn syrup and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Mix sugar, margarine, syrup and salt in 2-quart microwave bowl.
Bring to boil in microwave and let boil for 2 minutes.
Add soda and stir.
Pour mixture over popcorn that has been place in paper grocery sack; shake well.
Microwave on High 1 1/2 minutes. Take out and shake.
Repeat 2 more times and cool.
