Microwave Caramel Corn
Microwave Caramel Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. popcorn, popped, 1 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. margarine, 1/4 c. karo light syrup and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Place the popped corn in a large brown bag.
Place brown sugar, margarine, syrup and salt in a glass bowl (2-quart size). Microwave on High for 2 minutes.
Microwave until syrup boils for 2 minutes.
Add 1/2 teaspoon soda.
Pour over popped corn, stirring to coat evenly.
Close paper bag.
Microwave for 1 1/2 minutes on High.
Shake and repeat.
