In a 2-quart bowl, combine brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt.

Bring to full rolling boil.

This takes 3 to 5 minutes.

Stir soda into mixture. Mix well until foamy.

Pour syrup over popcorn in bag.

Close bag and shake well.

Microwave on High 1 minute.
