Microwave Caramel Corn
Microwave Caramel Corn is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. popcorn, 1 stick oleo, 1/4 c. white syrup, 1 c. packed brown sugar and 1/2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Pop 1/2 cup of popcorn and put into a grocery sack.
Boil oleo, syrup and sugar for 2 minutes.
Be sure this boils.
Add 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda to this when it is done and stir until foamy.
Pour over popcorn in sack.
Close and shake.
Put in microwave with top of sack open for 1 1/2 minutes.
Take out, shake and repeat 2 more times.
When finished, spread out on table and tap on popcorn to separate until dry.
