Microwave Caramel Corn
Microwave Caramel Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 qt. popped corn, 1 c. brown sugar, 1 stick margarine, 1/4 c. white karo syrup and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Place popcorn in large paper bag.
Mix the next 4 ingredients in a 2-quart bowl.
Place in microwave for 1 1/2 minutes.
Take out and stir.
Pour in baking soda.
Put back in microwave for 2 minutes on High.
Take out and pour over popcorn in bag.
Shake it then turn upside-down and put bag in microwave for 1 1/2 minutes. Take it out, shake and put back in microwave again for 1 1/2 minutes.
Put in bowl or cookie sheet to cool.
