Mexican Pie
Mexican Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. ground beef, 1 medium green pepper, chopped, 1/4 c. chopped onion, 1 (8 oz.) jar cheez whiz pasteurized process cheese spread and 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Brown meat; drain.
Add green pepper and onion.
Cook until tender.
Add half of process cheese spread and chili powder.
Stir over low heat until process cheese spread is melted.
Stir in tomato; combine remaining process cheese spread, eggs, flour, salt and milk.
Beat until smooth.
Pour into greased 9-inch pie plate. Sprinkle with corn meal.
Spoon meat mixture over batter to within 1-inch of edge.
Bake at 400Β° for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
