Mexican Cornbread

Brown meat, jalapeño pepper, onion, salt, pepper and garlic powder in heavy skillet.
Mix flour, corn meal and baking powder. Add egg, corn, milk, sugar and 1/2 of cheese.
Mix with meat mixture.
Pour into 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
Bake at 350° until done.
Then put remainder of cheese on top.
Cook until melted and bubbly.
