Mexican Cornbread
Mexican Cornbread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. margarine, 1 c. sugar, 4 eggs, 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chili peppers and 1 can cream-style corn, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cream the margarine and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well.
Add chopped peppers, corn, cheese and salt; mix well.
Sift together the flour, cornmeal and baking powder.
Add to mixture.
Pour into greased and floured oblong cake pan (9 x 13 x 3-inch).
Preheat oven to 350°.
Reduce heat to 300°.
Bake for 1 hour.
