Mix first 7 ingredients and set aside.
Brown ground beef and onion.
Add to cornmeal mix.
Add 1/2 cheese into mixture.
Use other 1/2 cheese to pour on top.
Bake in 13 x 9-inch ungreased pan at 350Β° for 45 minutes, uncovered.
