Mexican Casserole
Mexican Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 to 2 lb. hamburger meat, 1 large bell pepper, chopped, 1 can hot chili beans, tortilla chips, velveeta cheese and hot sauce and 1 large onion, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Fry meat, onions and pepper and drain fat.
Add tomatoes, beans, soup and hot sauce.
Cook until well blended.
Line casserole dish with layer of chips.
Pour half of mixture on layer.
Place squares of cheese on mixture.
Repeat another layer of tortilla chips and add remaining mixture.
Top with squares of cheese.
Bake until cheese is melted.
