Meringue is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. water, 1 tbsp. cornstarch, dash of salt, 6 tbsp. sugar and 3 egg whites, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Combine sugar and cornstarch.

Then add water, stirring well. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until transparent. Cool.

Beat egg whites and salt until foamy.

Continue beating while adding cooked mixture into egg whites.

Beat until stiff peaks form.

Put on top of pie, being sure to seal to crust. Brown in 350Β° oven.
