Meatsea Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground meat, 2/3 c. evaporated milk (5 oz. can), 1/2 c. bread crumbs, 1 tsp. garlic salt and 1/3 c. tomato paste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Mix meat, milk, bread crumbs and garlic salt with a fork.

Pat mixture evenly in bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate or 8 x 8-inch pan firmly.

Spread tomato paste over meat mixture.

Drain mushrooms.

Sprinkle Cheddar cheese over paste, then mushrooms, then oregano and grated cheese.

Lay Mozzarella cheese over top of pie.

Bake at 375Β° for 30 minutes.

Serves 4 to 5.

Nice with a salad.
