Meatless Lasagna
Meatless Lasagna is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 (1 lb.) pkg. lasagna, uncooked, 3 tbsp. margarine or butter, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1/2 c. chopped celery and 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up and undrained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Prepare lasagna according to package directions; drain.
In large saucepan, melt margarine.
Add onion and celery; cook until tender.
Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, water, basil, sugar, salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; simmer 15 minutes.
