Meat Pie is an easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. deep pan pie shells, 1 lb. hamburger meat, 1/2 lb. sausage meat, 5 to 7 potatoes and some pepper, oregano and garlic powder or salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Room temperature for pie shells.

Brown hamburger and sausage together; drain grease.

Then add (season to taste) pepper, oregano and garlic salt.

Boil peeled potatoes to make mashed potatoes; while mashing, you can add some butter.

Mix meat and potatoes together; put in one pie shell, then cover with a pie shell.

Bake until golden brown.

Serves 4 to 5 people.
