Meat Pastry
Meat Pastry is an easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. fillo dough (at room temperature), 1 1/4 c. ground beef, 1/2 c. margarine and 1 egg mixture (1 egg mixed with 1/2 c. milk), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Brown beef and then drain fat.
Salt and pepper to taste. Melt margarine and put aside.
Divide fillo package in half. Grease 13 x 9-inch pan and place first fillo sheet in pan and brush on margarine.
Repeat until the first half is finished and then spread the beef mixture evenly.
Repeat second half of fillo dough as done in the first half over the beef mixture.
Cut into 3 to 3 1/2-inch squares.
Take egg mixture and pour it over the tray.
Bake at 350Β° for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
