Meat Dressing
Meat Dressing is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 lb. ground beef, 1 lb. ground pork, 2 small onions, chopped, 1 small green pepper, chopped and 1 c. chopped celery, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Brown meats.
Add onions, green pepper and celery.
Cook down. Add garlic, shallots and parsley.
Cook down.
Soak French bread with only enough water to dampen.
Using hands, break up bread. Add 1 can steak sauce to pot.
Add bread.
Add peppers and salt (or bouillon cubes, dissolved in only small amount of water or crushed).
If bread shows, use 2 pronged fork to break up. If too dry, add more sauce.
