Meat Curry
Meat Curry is an impressive dinner. Made with 3 tbsp. butter, 1 tsp. garlic, chopped, 1 c. apple, cut in small cubes, 3/4 tsp. dry mustard and 2 1/2 c. chicken broth, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Melt butter in saucepan and add onion, garlic, celery and apple.
Cook, stirring often, for about 5 minutes.
Blend flour, curry powder and mustard; sprinkle it over vegetables.
Add bay leaf and chicken broth; rapidly stir with wire whisk.
When mixture has thickened, let simmer for 15 minutes.
Stir bottom often to prevent from sticking.
Add meat, milk and finely chopped chutney; simmer 4 to 5 minutes longer.
Serve with rice.
