Meat Balls
Meat Balls is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 slice bread, 2 tbsp. milk, 1 lb. ground beef, 1/2 lb. ground pork and 1/2 lb. ground veal, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Soak bread in milk, squeeze and shred.
Add to bread: the meat, eggs, parsley, chives, lemon rind, butter, half of both cheeses, salt and pepper.
Mix very well.
Make balls about 1 1/2-inches in diameter.
Combine salt pork and olive oil in skillet, heat and add onions and garlic.
Cook until brown.
Add meat balls and brown.
Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
Add balls to sauce and continue cooking for 1 hour.
Sprinkle with remaining cheeses.
Serve over angel hair pasta.
