Meat Balls
Meat Balls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. hamburger, 2 medium size onions, chopped, 1 c. quick cooking oats, 1/2 c. ketchup and 1 tsp. celery seed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Mix well the ingredients, then make out in balls, the size of walnuts. Put 1/2 cup kraut in bottom of pan. Place meatballs on kraut and cover them with the rest of kraut and juice.
Bake with lid on at 450° for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350°. Bake for 45 minutes.
Mix 1/2 cup ketchup with 1/4 cup water.
Pour over top and bake 20 minutes or longer until meatballs are done.
